Public Right to Know: Community Toxics Watch (CTW)

The Community Toxics Watch listserv covers issues surrounding the public's right to know about environmental hazards, including and beyond toxic chemicals in our communities and the Toxic Release Inventory. Topics include environmental reporting requirements, public access to environmental information, public participation, data quality, and gaps in data, as well as a host of other issues related to the public's right to know. As a private list, this list is intended for environmental advocates pushing to strengthen the public's right to know or for advocates interested in learning more about issues surrounding public access to environmental information. While any member of the list can post messages to the entire list, posts are usually infrequent, perhaps 2-5 messages per week; activity increases in response to legislative or advocacy crises. Posts are generally not moderated.
