FactCheck.Org has a good rundown of the half-truths, dissembling, gaffes, disingenuous remarks and false claims (AKA lies) by the anti-SCHIP legions. Lying is what you do when you have a weak argument. However, it can be pretty effective, as we all know, when nobody checks you.
