Unfortunately, Democrats have decided to go their own way," House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) told reporters June 26. I think the good Congressman spent too much time in the sun over the July 4th recess. I don't see how leading a party that has 147 of its members pledging their fealty to the president to sustain any veto he issues is a party willing "work with Democrats to deal with the issues the American people sent" them to Washington to do. That's not a compromise, that's trying to get Democrats to holler "uncle!"
