Today I attended a press conference at the Dirksen Building to announce the release of Independent Sector's Panel on the Nonprofit Sector Interim Report. The Interim Report contains 21 recommendations to the Senate Finance Committee on measures to regulate the nonprofit sector. The recommendations are the product of the Panel's 5 Working Groups and, supposedly, public recommendations on the first draft. The recommendations are based largely in reponse to the Senate Finance Cmte's discussion draft. For the Panel's Interim Report.
