OMB Watch Testifies on EPA Science Bill

OMB Watch Testimony on EPA Science Bill (3/29/2001): A bill to make science more prominent at EPA raises questions more about what it does not do than what it does. Billed as an effort to promote science at EPA, the bill (H.R. 64), introduced by Rep. Vernon Ehlers (R-MI) could mean that scientific uncertainty leads to EPA inaction, allowing for public exposure to chemicals we know little about.
