In May 2007 the UK Home Office in partnership with the Treasury released a consultation on a review into charities and terrorist financing that began in February 2006, "Review of Safeguards to Protect the Charitable Sector (England and Wales) from Terrorist Abuse". BOND (British Overseas NGOs for Development), a network of voluntary organizations in the United Kingdom working in international development has put out a review in response.
