Here are some useful links: Grants.gov- an online resource to find and apply for cempetitive federal grant opportunities. Grants Catalog from White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives- lists more than 100 programs representing more than $65 billion in Federal grant opportunities from multiple Federal agencies. The list includes most of the programs offered by these agencies of interest to small, faith-based and community groups. However, there may be other programs in these or other agencies that are not yet listed. Additional programs will be added over time. GuideStar- Web site is produced by Philanthropic Research, Inc., a 501(c)(3) public charity founded in 1994. GuideStar's mission is to revolutionize philanthropy and nonprofit practice with information. National Center for Charitable Statistics (Urban Institute) is the national repository of data on the nonprofit sector in the United States. Its mission is to develop and disseminate high quality data on nonprofit organizations and their activities for use in research on the relationships between the nonprofit sector, government, the commercial sector, and the broader civil society. National Council of Nonprofit Associations is a membership-based organization of state and regional associations that represent thousands of nonprofits throughout the country. Their members work at the state and local level to provide training and technical assistance to improve the operations and effectiveness.
