Lillie Saunders: Executive Assistant

Lillie comes to the organization with years of professional experience providing support to CEOs in the nonprofit sector. Before joining OMB Watch, she served 10 years as executive assistant to the president and CEO of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, a national organization dedicated to educational reform. Prior to the National Board, Lillie served in several capacities for 19 years at Independent Sector, a leadership network for charities, foundations, and corporate giving programs committed to advancing the common good in America and the world. Lillie has five siblings, two sons, and three grandchildren and enjoys brisk walks for relaxation. She is known as the “counselor” to family and friends, as she always enjoys listening to and providing words of comfort and encouragement.
