While we applaud the Recovery Board for making Recvoery Act recipient reports available in a downloadable format (CSV files), we are a bit frustrated that the one has to pull together some 180 individual files into one spreadsheet to see all the data in one space.

The good news for you, readers, is that we are posting a unified data set here.

Just a warning first: we haven't gone through this data yet with a fine tooth comb, and there have been reports that the CSV files are riddled with formatting errors, which may require some manual fixes by the user. With that caveat in mind, have at it.

And if you find anything interesting, please do leave comments and let us (and everyone else know).

Update: The Recovery Board has posted a single Excel file with all prime and sub-recipient reports (see our post on this here).
