The good folks at ProPublica have assembled data from Recovery.gov's federal agency data and their own research to produce a simple, but exceptionally lucid visual of the proportion of Recovery Act funds that have been spent to date -- the Stimulus Progress Bar. Additionally, ProPublica has broken down spending progress at the various federal agencies disbursing Recovery Act funds. These are exactly the sort of data and visualizations that would make Recovery.gov a better tool for stimulus transparency.
